You donut want to miss this!🍩 Donut Falls; absolutely majestic! This natural wonder is formed inside a cave. Water spills through a hole at the top of the cave down to a pool of water below. During the winter, ice/icecycles form around the hole and it’s something to behold. Definitely not as easy of a hike as it is in the summer. Is it hiking-to-frozen-waterfalls season yet? ❄️ Donut Falls is one of my favorites in the winter, especially because finding the little cave with the donut-shaped waterfall isn’t super straightforward… so it ends up feeling more like an adventure than a regular hike. The trail itself is about 3.3 miles out & back without much elevation gain, but the final climb into the cave is definitely sketchy in winter.
