We used to sand cast almost every day, now we rarely start the furnace except for custom pieces. But all these parts were handmade and poured at the shop. We did hundreds or thousands of pours, all aluminum, all in sand. Some of these pieces were production, a lot of them got re melted. There’s tons of one off pieces I will make more videos on.
